He was born in a village Baglica town in Boyabat in Sinop. He went to primary school in the village. Then he finished boarding secondary and high school in Eskişehir. He graduated from Art Faculty in Samsun 19 Mayıs University. He has been working on art, photograph, cartoon, graph and criticism since 1987. His first critic book “Yuzunden Dusen Bin Umut” was published in 2000 and his child novel “Sanat Yolu-1/Yatili Okuldan Gecen Yol” was published in 2005. He opened his first personal art exhibition in Baglica village against protesting artists who never leave from big cities for public. His own personal opening ceremony was made by a village boy.He also opened a lot of personal and mixed art, caricature and photograph exhibitons in Sinop, Samsun, Çorum, Ordu and Istanbul. He began caricature to join Abdi İpekci competition in 1987. He won nearly 100 prizes in cartoon competitions. Also 52 of those prizes were international prizes. His cartoons were published in personal and mixed exhibitions, newspapers, albums and magazines in Turkey and also abroad. Besides his cartoon woks take part in museums in Yugoslavia, Cyprus, Turkey, Romania, USA, Japan and Italy.
